Christina started dancing at the age of 9 when she saw an dance ad in the newspaper. She danced at Dance Xplosion by Michelle for 9 years until she graduated. She started with just Hip-hop and quickly started adding different styles of dance. Christina has trained in Hip-Hop, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Ballet, Modern, Acro, and Contemporary while in high school. While dancing at her studio she taught many Baby Tutu, Kinderdance classes and Dance Camps. Christina have taught children from age 2 to 18 during her dance career. When Christina was a Freshman in high school she attended Thomas Dale High School Specialty Center For The Visual and Performing Arts for dance. While is was there she was on Thomas Dale Dance Team for 3 year attending The Universal Dance Association Dance Camp winning many awards. Christina was also apart of her studio’s competition team winning many overall high score awards including the highest scoring dance in the entire competition with her solo ‘New Romantic’ in 2015. In 2014 and 2016 she is also was the Manhattan Dance Project Scholarship award winner. She also attended the Summer Regional Governor’s School for the Performing Arts in June of 2015. Christina is currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University as a Dance & Choreography major. She has worked with many faculty members including Scott Putman, Andre Zachary, Melanie Richards and many more.
